Hotels, private clubs, townhouses and formal reception rooms demand a quiet footprint. Corridors, lifts, traffic and tight schedules are part of the day, so the filming has to work around them rather than continually stopping people for camera.
Historic & cultural London
Museums, galleries, listed buildings and landmark spaces bring scale and atmosphere, but they can also bring strict access windows, public opening hours and rules around equipment. Planning those details early keeps them out of the couple’s way on the day.

ALISBY AT THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
A London venue we already know
Alisby has filmed at the Natural History Museum in Kensington. It is the sort of London venue where preparation matters: a vast historic building, major event spaces and venue rules that need to be understood before the cameras arrive. Once the day begins, that planning should disappear into the background.
That experience is useful without becoming a rigid formula. Every wedding has a different guest list, schedule, light and atmosphere. Familiarity with a venue helps; paying attention to the wedding in front of the camera matters more.
VENUES & SETTINGS
Three very different London settings
London has no single wedding look. These venues show the range, from monumental museum architecture to botanical glasshouses and a riverside World Heritage setting.
Natural History Museum
Hintze Hall and the museum’s other event spaces bring extraordinary scale, architecture and atmosphere. Alisby has filmed here before, so the practical realities of working discreetly in a major public institution are already familiar.
Kew Gardens
Kew offers a very different London wedding: gardens, historic buildings and glasshouses filled with natural light. The Nash Conservatory and surrounding grounds allow the day to move between architecture and landscape without losing the sense that you are still in London.
Old Royal Naval College
Greenwich brings the Thames, colonnades and baroque interiors into the same wedding. The Painted Hall, Chapel, Admiral’s House and riverside grounds give couples several very different spaces within one historic site.

GENUINE SUPER 8
Analogue because it behaves differently — not because a filter says so
Alisby shoots real Super 8 motion-picture film. It can be woven into a digital wedding film or used for a separate short piece.
The attraction is not fake nostalgia. Super 8 reacts differently to movement, light and exposure. Grain, softness and the occasional imperfection give certain moments a physical quality that clean digital footage cannot reproduce.
For couples who want both, digital coverage preserves the voices and fuller story while Super 8 contributes its own texture.
ON THE DAY
Low-profile coverage, properly coordinated
A wedding already has enough moving parts. Filming should not add another one. Timings, access and sound are planned beforehand so the cameras can stay out of the way when the day begins.
