Hello

Behind The Camera

Hi, I’m Mark

I create custom wedding films for couples getting married in Paris and across France.

Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony with views over the Seine, a garden reception in Provence, or a  weekend celebration at venues like Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, Château de Varennes, or the Ritz Paris — I film quietly, professionally, and without getting in the way.

I’ve worked with both public figures and private families — often under strict confidentiality — but every wedding gets the same care, whether it’s a large-scale production or something more personal. Using cinema-grade cameras, clear sound, and a natural documentary style, I capture what’s actually happening — no directing, no pretending, just the real day.

If you’re after a wedding film that reflects the atmosphere and the people, not a stage-managed version, I offer full-day wedding videography for guests overseas, discreet Super 8mm-style footage, and story-led edits with clean sound and thoughtful pacing.

I’m available throughout France — from Paris to the countryside — and always happy to travel to where your story is.

Work

Every wedding I film in France is captured in a calm, documentary style — no scripts, no re-takes. Whether it’s bridal prep in a Paris apartment, a ceremony in a countryside chapel, or a château reception in the Loire, I work with what’s actually happening — not what “should” happen.

The result? A wedding film that reflects the real atmosphere of the day — from quiet nerves in the morning to mayhem on the dancefloor once the shoes come off. I use discreet, professional audio setups, multiple camera angles when needed, and a low-key presence throughout. That way, you get a true record of the day — not a performance of it.

Paris Super 8 Wedding Films

Paris Super 8 Wedding Videographer – Natural, Unstaged Films

One of the most striking weddings I’ve filmed in France took place at a private estate just outside Paris. The couple held their ceremony beneath the trees with views across the gardens, followed by a relaxed champagne reception on the lawn and dinner under a sailcloth marquee. With everything in one place, the day flowed naturally — giving me space to focus on real moments as they happened, not stage-managing them.

France offers some of the most cinematic wedding locations in Europe — from historic Parisian townhouses and countryside châteaux to vineyard estates and Mediterranean villas. These settings are perfect for a documentary approach: natural light, elegant backdrops, and atmosphere that doesn’t need dressing up.

I shoot with a mix of handheld, locked-off, and gimbal setups — keeping things smooth and cinematic without intruding. If you’re planning a wedding in Paris or anywhere in France, I know how to capture it discreetly, honestly, and with a strong sense of story.

I’m available for luxury weddings across France, including Paris, Provence, the French Riviera, Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, and Champagne. I regularly work at five-star venues such as Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, Château de Varennes, Château Saint-Martin & Spa, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Hôtel Le Marois, and Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Whether you’re getting married in a grand château or a private estate overlooking the Mediterranean, I provide discreet, story-led wedding films that reflect the real atmosphere of the day.

READY TO BOOK?

When a couple books, we do our best to arrange a visit to the venue around two weeks before the wedding — not to direct or plan, but to quietly familiarise ourselves with the layout, lighting, and flow of the day. We're not photographers. We don’t choreograph people or stage moments. Our role is to observe and capture things naturally, without getting in the way.

Dates fill quickly — if you’re looking for someone who works calmly, professionally, and with minimal fuss, get in touch to check availability.
