Alisby has filmed weddings and private events since 2009, from intimate London celebrations to destination weddings. Super 8 offers a distinctive way to preserve the day: soft colour, visible grain and small variations that belong to the physical film itself.
The camera encourages a calm, economical way of filming. Rather than recording continuously, the important gestures, faces and atmosphere are selected carefully. The developed reels are then scanned and edited into a concise film.

HOW WE WORK
Present, discreet and never over-directed
Timings and venue requirements are agreed beforehand. On the day, the small Super 8 camera allows coverage to remain relaxed while the celebration unfolds naturally.
After processing, the footage is shaped in-house. The final edit keeps the character of the original material rather than polishing away the qualities that make Super 8 special.
